Senegal

I spent time in southwestern Senegal (north of The Gambia) during December 2018.  I stayed at a hotel associated with a game park.  Movement was very restricted, which is not my cup of tea.  The following videos were taken during that time, as where the photos and framegrabs found in the Senegal Bird Gallery and the Senegal - Fauna Gallery.  The video portfolio for The Birds of Senegal contains the three compilations shown below as well as individual videos of 47 bird species recorded in December.  While in Senegal, I recorded video of 14 mammal species.  Videos of those species have been added to the Mammals video portfolio.

There are six embedded videos found below; three are compilations of bird videos recorded in Senegal, and three are compilations of mammal videos recorded there.  Following the embedded videos there are links to video of individual species.  A short video of travel along the tracks of western Senegal and along the mangroves is found here.
